This is one of the house hold kitchen aid which can be found in almost all the houses in India. Initially people use to chop vegetable using this and this is used to trim extra fat from mutton and chicken meat too. The one in the above picture is little small in size to fit the modern kitchen's of today. It also has an scrapper at the top of the blade to scrap coconut.
